Laura Mendelow
Laura Mendelow is a seasoned leadership and team development consultant with over 25 years of experience helping individuals and organizations thrive. She is the Founder of Mendelow Consulting Group, a Washington, D.C.-based firm serving clients such as AstraZeneca, Workday, Kimley-Horn, and Booz Allen. Known for her engaging and practical approach, Laura believes that when you truly “get” people, you get results.
A Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation, Laura holds a master’s degree in Organization Development and a bachelor’s in Psychology. She is an accomplished facilitator and educator, having taught graduate-level facilitation at Marymount University and served as a guest instructor in George Mason University’s Leadership Coaching for Organizational Performance program.
Laura has designed and facilitated more than 200 customized team development programs and led leadership courses on topics such as Crucial Conversations, Emotional Intelligence, and Leading High-Performing Teams. She also founded and leads a long-standing, industry-recognized Leadership and Organization Development Book Club, now in its third decade.
With a background as both an internal and external consultant, Laura brings a well-rounded, systems-thinking perspective to every engagement. Her work is grounded in research, practical experience, and a genuine commitment to helping people connect and lead more effectively.
As part of her commitment to giving back, Laura offers a “Parent as Leader” program that helps parents apply leadership principles at home to foster stronger, more intentional family relationships.
